The second convention proved another encouragement for us when over three hundred people recorded their presence at the meeting. Like the first convention the event started with Surya Vandana and was followed by speeches of several experienced members of our Shakdwipiya Family but this time in a much more spectacular fashion, afterall the venue was Gokul Atihi Bhawan one of the finest halls of Gorakhpur city. Our elders and people with great achievements and good performances of the day were awarded a certificate and idol of Lord Ganesha as a small representation of our respect and love towards them. With an aroma of cultural presentations,songs and even presentations by children the sammelan proved a great hit!
